Not skilled enough??? You don't know boxing then. He's a top 5 at 126 and top 2 at 122. Name 5 better than him right now... I could use a good laugh.

Never been 2nd best at 122, maybe maximum no.3 on the basis that others left the division. At no point could you rank him over Rigo and Frampton (earlier, Rigo and Donaire). Even at 118, never got to the top.

Top 5 at 126 for beating Mares who hasn't looked good at featherweight at all. Says more about the division than anything, very top heavy. Again, Walters has just left the division.

The Santa Cruz project is interesting, grabbing all these divisional titles, without ever being no.1, or even no.2, of the division. The level of opposition prior to Mares has severely tarnished his legacy

Hes not skilled enough to be champion at 140. I am not saying he is not skilled and a good fighter at 122. But to go up in weight like that it takes special kind of fighters, dont u agree?

The version of Leo Santa Cruz that defeated Mares would defeat the version of Carl Frampton that showed up against Alejandro Gonzalez Jr. I'm quite confident of that.

Yup. Outside of Rig. I don't think anyone could beat him right now at 122.

126??? I'm gonna ignore Walters because He can't make 126 and walks around well over 145 lbs... Would be a 50/50 fight against Loma or Russel jr. If those guys all fought against each other they all could beat the other on a given night.

I can only rate him on what he's actually done, not fantasy.

I believe he'll do it, he'll keep fighting tomato cans for meaningless belts, he'll keep dropping names to appear relevant and uncle al will never risk him, he'll make a lot of money and in a few years when people look at the statistics, he'll be a hofamer, sad but true

Santa Cruz doesn't have the power nor slick skills to accomplish that feat. 126 is probably his highest he can compete in
