1980's Big fight. Razor vs Dokes.

There is indeed a big hwy fight this weekend with Byrd vs Kiltscko, great fan interest and two fighters willing to fight anyone, give both credit..... ...... Back in the 80's Razor and Dokes agreed to square off instead of waiting to fight Tyson. Both came in in great shape , ready to rumble. Dokes was older and being 240 punds, was he too heavy, could a 1981 dokes who foguht at around 216 and stopped Weaver in one and was fast starter perhaps given the Razor a better fight, or perhaps beaten Razor. At the time of the stopppage in rd 4, Dokes was out leaning n the ropes only semi-conscious, Dokes was ahead on points acoording to Gil Clancey the announcer so Dokes still had skills left............ Could a 1981 or 1982 dokes beaten Ruddock, no one knows for sure but such claim may hold some truth....... In 1981 Dokes was the answer to the division......... ...He had fast hands, and could hit and was motivated............. Take a look at him in Weaver one, that is perhaps Dokes at his best...........

Dokes & Ruddock fought in the spring of 1990.

yeah, the left hook that hit Dokes was terrifying....that was one of the best left hook/uppercuts ive ever seen delivered on an opponent

The 1981 version of Dokes would have
              1)Stopped Razor late.
2)Decisioned Razor by a unanimous decision.
Only Page could have taken Dokes at that time.
