According to former WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee (34-3-1, 24KOs), a June date in New York City is being lined up for his anticipated ring return.
Lee went through a lackluster 2015 and never got the opportunity to make successful defense of his world title.
He fought Peter Quillin to a twelve round split draw in April. Both boxers were down in the contest. Lee then came back in December, making a mandatory defense of his belt against Billy Joe Saunders, and he lost a twelve round majority decision.
