Tyson was done and anyone who knew a thing about boxing didn't take it seriously. This fight was picking the bones of the legend that was Mike Tyson.

Tyson could have been 100% in his prime he still would have lost to Lewis ......yeah Tyson was past it for sure but Lewis wasn't exactly in his prime, he was older and was also slower and heavier.....when Lewis beat Tyson he was clever.....he used his natural weight to gradually take the fight out of him..lean on him and hit from a distance and when ever Tyson attacked he smothered him.....Tyson never faced anybody with Lewis's ability.....if you don't think so look at the way he easily beat ruddock in 2 rounds and even dealt with tucker easier ...dropped him twice and won a clear decision..Tyson also vacated his title because Lewis was his mandatory and paid Lewis 4 million to step aside....Lewis was superior

          This was an unfair fight.

          Tyson was way past it.
So was pac when he fought floyd.
So was leonard when he fought camacho.
          Chavez when he fought oscar.

          These were like 70/30 fights.

He was way gone and showing up for checks at that point.

Tyson was past his prime but how much, I don't know. So many things happened in his life at that point.

The day Tyson went to jail was the end of his prime.

It's impossible to go to jail for 4 years and come out in your prime.

                No training for 4 years.
                Unhealthy food for 4 years.

                Tyson prime ended in 1990.

Prison will end any man's prime

He was pretty much shot when he fought Lewis. Tysons prime ended when he went to prison.

He came out of his prime around the Holyfield fights. he never looked the same after that.

Vintage Tyson was more than a decade away from the Lewis fight.
