Good boxer overall but he does not have the best footwork.

I meant to say what do you mainly consider Alvarez to be stylistically
To be fair, Floyd was much more agressive in the lower classes and though he seems to be an outfighter, some of his best work is inside and he stands in the pocket to counter punch. Hate the guy but can't deny he's a complete fighter and if that's not entirely true then he can apply his trade to any style. I think that might be more accurate

But as stated prior, he's (Canelo) a counter puncher / boxer puncher.

        Boxer/puncher with underrated defense.

I would say the opposite. He's a counter puncher with good boxing skills and a decent defense.

I really wish he was lighter on his feet though

            Heavy-legged counter-punching wannabe slickster.

He's currently developing his pressure fighting dimension

If you aren't fleet enough to dance with opponents, you best be able to catch them

He is a straight up boxer, he wants to out think and outbox the other guy from distance. I could see calling him a boxer/puncher because he is fairly offensive minded but does so with boxing more than aggression.

He has decent hand speed. with fairly good defense and counter punching but his physical attributes are not ideal for his desired style, which is kind of why he drifts into being a boxer puncher which is a slightly better fit.

He's able to pressure come forward fighters (Angulo, Kirkland), but boxers like Floyd and Lara cause him extreme problems
