FORMER construction worker Charles Martin wants to demolish Anthony Joshua’s dreams.

The IBF heavyweight champion puts his title on the line against the British star on April 9 in London.

The American will pocket up to £4m for coming to England to make the first defence of the belt he won in January.

one thing about charles martin that is abundantly clear he has far more balls than deontay '' birdlegs'' wilder who has said he will vacate rather than face povetkin in moscow vacate that means give up the title without a fight

This difference here is that he makes more money in the UK. Dude is making $4 Mil for that fight. If the money is right I think Wilder will do it, he is the same guy that said he would go to the UK to face Fury right?

Wilder vs Povetkin is a big fight not matter where they have it. If you are the champ why would you want to have the fight in the other guys arena when you can fill your own?

NY would be the perfect place for this fight (both guys fans would be able to support their guy). This is like people telling Roy Jones he had to go to Germany to face Dariusz Michalczewski.

When you win the belt you should get something out of it. Whoever wins the bid should chose the location and network. That is that same way I feel about Stevenson vs Kovalev.

We'll win this fight and more money will come your way. I was down on Martin for dropping out of the Breazele fight just one day prior to the event and was sour on the way he won the title but this interview and him taking a risk against Anthony Joshua has put me back in his corner.

I'm team Martin all the way.

Martin got balls though, this is an important fight so many people were ragging on his last fight cause the guy tko himself by backing up on his leg awkward and damaging his knee.

This is the fight to see if either fighter is the goods, I hope it doesnt turn out to be boring with both guys scared to trade, make a statement man. You gotta win by KO in the UK man.

I understand that but also i can see that people will give neither guy credit for winning this fight anyway. Whichever fighter loses they will just say "he never fought anybody anyway"

He has great power and that southpaw stance which is always awkward for everyone, even other southpaws, so at least he has those two things going for him. He also has great offensive techique and temperament, but I'm not sold on his defense and we know nothing about his chin. He also doesn't seem active enough, he should probably work on his activity.

Those are the questions that have to be answered when he faces Joshua, chin, defense, and ability to cope with a high pace, coz Joshua is a ****er himself and he as a decent amount of activity for a heavyweight.
