He'll be sapped of power by the fourth round and start to feel his ribs crack when GGG goes to the body and eventually Wade will stay on his stool in the corner and refuse to continue.

What Wade fights did you watch? BTW he beat Soliman with a solid UD, even dropped him at least once. And he's fought MW and SMW with no weight issues. Look, the guy has the stones to only ask if it's for the titles. He didn't even ask right off what the pay was. And he has power, speed, a great jab... Why do you goofballs keep honking b.s. over a guy who has the guts to go in there with the perceived giant of the division? Do you have a problem with the man trying to make a living and working hard doing it? Get off your fatazz and get ranked and take on GGG yourself if you think you can do better. Or better yet, grind on Jacobs for not having the stones to get in there and do it.

Why can't Haymon fighters have the same kind of balls like this Wade guy have?

I haven't heard of Wade before he was scheduled for this fight and can't find the Solomon fight but watched some rounds of the his fights with Brinson and Young

Seemed decent not to convinced he's a world beater but I found it interesting he had over 150 amateur fights beat Errol Spence fought Porter and Jacobs, Won 4 straight junior Olympic championships.

Like the attitude he's bringing, I'm interested in the fight just to see what he could do.

".... you have to try and miss the shots you can't see and take the ones you can see..." Yeah. Ok. Good luck with that 4 eyes.

Middleweight is truly terrible right now.

Like heavyweight has been for the last decade.

Which is why we see so many green fighters getting title shots.
And SMW and LMW are so good? MW may have great fighters in Jacobs or EUbank (coming on strong) .. but if the are all afraid to step up how can you tell?

Jack and Sturm as champions. Ward went up as there was no challenge there.

In LMW you have supposedly great fighters but who knows as they almost never fight each other.

SMH. You and a few other posters probably rate Lara higher than he ranks himself. If he could crack top 5 MW then why doesn't he? ... he sure isn't making huge money where he is as he is avoided.

No kidding. People are so quick to call the guy a bum but at least he isn't making up excuses to not fight "lil g", he's willing to step in the ring. All the so called credible opponents are all running for the hills or wanting the fight to "marinate" as if the fight was a damn steak or something.

It's probably more a situation of "lil g" making the opposition look like bums instead of them being bums in any case.

Like I said when the fight was signed, he's not a bad fighter, it's just a little early for him. It would've been nice if he could've fought in a couple of eliminators to get that 12 round experience and he could have been a solid opponent next year or so.

But hey, opportunity knocked and he answered. Gotta respect that.

Heck Lara would probably make the Top #5 if he fought at MW. And Khan would make the Top #10 list...

Remember the beating Chavez gave Lee?? Did you see the Lee/Saunders fight??? Man it was TERRIBLE!!! like watching two blind dudes fight without arms or legs!

Kinda odd how you guys left out the part where Chavez jr weighed about 180 pounds in that fight. They didn't air the fight night weight for a reason, he was MASSIVE.

I like how Lee and Lemieux are C level guys now just because "lil g" beat em up. Lemieux would spark Lara out with one punch...matter of fact, I hope that Lara does move up to 160 and faces Lemieux. He should easily smoke him since he is an A+ talent facing the likes of Delvin Rodriguez, Zaveck, and Ishe Smith....a straight killers row.

Seen a few of Wade's fights. This guy isn't even a fighter. Nothing stands out about him. But, no surprise, that's the caliber the boogeyman loves to feast on. What a waste. Screw the mandatory ****. This is farce.
