Mainman Mademan: "Khan Fit Opponent Criteria So Why'd Mayweather Avoid Him?" (VIDEO)

One of the most realistic and brutally honest boxing channels out there today, Mainman Mademan, seeks an explanation for Mayweather's reluctance to face Amir Khan and leans towards the most self-evident answer given the circumstances surrounding his 2 year swerving of Khan as an opponent.... ducking.

    So there we have it.

Being genuinely honest and this is what I believe. I personally don't think Khan had a chance but Mayweather acknowledged that he was slowing down and as a result may not have wanted to risk it.

I think you need to move on though.

Come on, that channel has no subscribers and was only made in February 2016. I think it's yours.

        Khan was too high risk

Floyd would never live with himself if Khan took his "0", he saw something in Khan which he didnt fancy

Floyd picks boxers who he is 100% confident he can beat, he has an eye for what works for him

Khan is a horrible style match up for Floyd, even if Floyd beat him, he wouldnt look pretty doing it and at this age it would be a draining fight.

Floyd fans and Khan haters can lie to themselves as much as they want, but Khan would have pushed Floyd to his absolute limit .

I think it is lame how Floyd ducked Khan

We know why, Khan too fast for floyd. Floyd only accepted the Pac fight because he did research and found out Pac was badly injured. He ran a background check on Khan and found he was too paskitani, too fast and too healthy

Most people felt Khan didn't deserve a Mayweather fight or a Pacquiao fight. The only reason Canelo chose him was an easy payday against a name opponent. Khan should have fought one of the other welterweight champions and if he won he would have been a name in the welterweight division rather than going for a payday.

Floyd isn't aggressive enough to bother khan and doesn't punch hard enough to counter him effectively. It's a terrible style matchup for Floyd who likes predictable opponents. Khan would have great success on him with simple flurries which would score points. Win or lose its too risky for Floyd.

It doesnt explain why he picked Berto

and Khan was Floyds mando for 2 years

Floyd always says if it makes "business sense" he will fight whoever

Khan made business sense alot more so than some of these fighters Floyd fought in his last few fights, besides Canelo and Pac.

Floyd just wasnt willing to risk his 0,

Indeed this older version of Floyd would have had a difficult night with Khan

These kinds of questions always sound funny. Amir Khan was just another guy he could've fought and would've gotten no credit for beating a guy who really has no real solid fights at WW. Its hilarious really.
