Marquez turns 43 in August. I'm going with Cotto, the bigger, younger man.

I have no interest in this fight. Marquez is 43 coming off of a 2 year layoff. And then he wants a rehydration clause for 153. It's too much to ask.

But being that Cotto has no options for a big fight at 154,he will probably take the fight under marquez terms.

Cotto beats Marquez at any stage of his career. Marquez feeds right into what Cotto does best. Cotto loves to exchange combos so he can land his left hook. Marquez loves to counter with combos. Except we have seen Marquez hurt or dropped by so many fighters over the years much smaller than Cotto.

That said why make this fight now? Cotto still has one more great fight left in him against the right guy. I wish he would fight Brook.

Stylistically, this is a beautiful matchup and alsp based on style i believe Cotto wont have such a passive approach as he did with Canelo; he'll attempt to engage more...with Marquez inactivity taken into consideration.

Cotto offense is most effective when he sets up combinations while he works behind his jab...all of which will play into Marquez strengths. Might sound far fetched to most but i would not be surprised at all if Marquez KOs Cotto..at all.

I agree. Cotto's style is perfect for Marquez... This would be an awesome fight. And I would definitely watch.
