Cotto is a damn good fighter in my opinion. I think Canelo beat him clearly but it was fairly close and Cotto fought very well. I think welterweights like Marquez, Bradley and Khan would have almost no chance of beating Cotto. Cotto would probably knock out an average middleweight like Curtis even without a catchweight

If he can make 147 without losing strength he would be hard to beat. He is small for 154 but he is a big welterweight. I am one of those who think Roach brings out the best of Cotto.
