sanctioning bodies never care. Hearn most likely giving up a hefty sum. Wasn't Sauerland complaining how Callum Smith is fighting a #7 fighter in an eliminator

            Macklin needs to quit.

He would make a decent trainer. If he keeps getting smashed in he will end up like a brummie bhop

This has to be a misprint in the article, both guys held/fought for the WBC International title at 154 last year. Macklin is rated at 154 and Rose is unrated completely by the WBC. I would guess the WBC has inserted these two into the 154lb 'tourney' as numerous guys have dropped out to pursue other titles like J-Rock.

The winner of this fight would be mando for the winner of Jermell Charlo vs John Jackson who has to then fight Demetrius Andrade.

A crossroads fight for these 2 guys. Also, a very 'Meh' fight.
