Should Oscar and Canelo be overlooking such a monster puncher in Khan though? Potential banana skin imo

Dana White explained it best, a sellout at Dallas Stadium doesn't compete financially with MGM in Vegas. Overhead on stadium shows are too high, and MGM simply give you their arena and a bulk of the ticket revenue.

Canelo/Kirkland actually lost money at Minute Maid Park for the regional promoters(b/c they priced the tickets too low and didn't meet expectations).

Some good news 4 a Change

Why does Canelo want to get KO'd in front of Texans?

It'll go to purse bid before GGG/K2 agree to fight in Texas. No fight fan should want that fight in Texas.

Just part of the negotiation. GBP will go to K2 and GGG and tell them they can fight for a career payday in front of a record crowd in Dallas on PPV. All they have to do is come down to 155. Or Canelo can vacate and GGG can pick up the title from another no name like wade in front of a much smaller crowd on HBO for a fraction of the money. Their choice.
If GGG is as confident as his fans are that he can whip Canelo easily he should take the fight at 155 and embarrass him at his own requested weight. Then he can demand a rematch at 160 as the champ.

btw a purse bid is all the more reason for canelo to pull out of the fight...doesnt want to end up on showtime ppv instead of hbo ppv...oscar has every right not to put his boxer in a bid bc he might not get the promo dollars on his cash cow..

lol and who in gods name has every seen a fight that does 1 million ppvs go to bid? lol u gotta think homie...that means you have to bid like 15 million up front..AINT NOBODY DOING THAT

GGG will take this fight on the moon, without oxygen. Only issue he has is that ****** weight request.
