Anyway, Floyd by UD, with Hatton's face looking like a boxing glove hit it about 400 times. Possibly late ref stoppage.

The fact of the matter is, Juicy is dead accurate on this one. It's essential that Floyd has an gigantic punch output in this fight.

Hatton's defense is terrible, the difference between him and Castillo is, Jose blocks shots not with his face when he applies pressure. Floyd is a such a fluid, combination puncher and will find Hatton's face again and again when he comes in, as opposed to KT, who threw one punch at a time, not nearly enough to keep Ricky off of him.

But for Hatton nuthuggers to blindly believe that Floyd is just gonna be KT all over again has another thing coming.
WTF, I was talking about the title of the thread..

    Idiot.

When did i say it would be easy? I said Hatton would win no problem if he just went into the fight doing what he does best..putting pressure on the fighter and not letting him breathe and i'll stick to that.

I wasn't necessarly talking about cuts. I actually talking about Ricky's eyebrows being the size of watermellons. But cuts could work as well.

It's kinda hard to fight when you can't see.

Too me one of the most interesting things about this bout will be how does the ref decide to officate the fight.

If Floyd gets a ref that is constantly breaking them up Ricky is in big trouble-from the outside Floyd will murder Ricky, absolutely murder him.

If Ricky gets a ref that more times then not is making them "punch to get out" Floyd could be in for some trouble-and at the very least Floyd will be in for the most grueling fight of his career.

I always thought that neither man would budge fighting away from their home turf because they wanted to be assred the referee would officate the fight to accomodate each mans particular style. (as LL would say big ups to Ricky for bringing the fight to the states!)

The officating will be huge folks!

You mean a ref that will actually officiate and enforce a BOXING match?

Castillo is very aggressive but more technical and I believe a better polished fighter than Hatton. Sure Castillo wont enjoy the power advantage but thats mostly due to Hatton probably fighting PBF at 147lbs.

I might be wrong, I've seen about 12ish fights of Hatton (all mid to late career) and dont see anything that he does that is that that much better than what Castillo does. Surely Hatton hasn't proven he can take a punch as good as Castillo who has a great beard. They both work the body really well.

So can the Hatton fans please tell me why you believe that if Castillo was "Kinda succesful" versus PBF then that automatically means Hatton will destroy him? You make it seem as if Castillo is the poor mans Hatton.

*Note that I'm not saying who will win Hatton vs PBF
Couldn't have put it better myself. I like Hatton, but Castillo would give Ricky big-time problems if they fought at 140.
