Can you imagine GGG beating a 147 pounder with 4 oz gloves?

lol mcgregor would get decapitated, most UFC fighters dont even know how to throw a jab plus the massive weight and power advantage to GGG

Honestly anytime I read a what if/fantasy fight thread of this MMA fighter vs. this boxer. The answer is basically always to same in my head contingent on the obvious:

Is it an MMA match? The MMA fighter wins.

Is it a boxing match? The boxer wins.

I know you can break it down a lot further than that, but really that is the truth of it 90+% of the time. Whichever guy isn't competing in the sport that they've dedicated the vast majority of their training to, he can't be favored to win because he is inevitably going to be more exploitable.

And while there are a lot of tremendously good boxers that compete in MMA, I don't think they can truly be as good as most full-time boxers because they have to dedicate a lot of training time to other disciplines (if they don't want to be trounced in an MMA match).

The sanctioning is more important than the fighters when it's 2 guys both on very high levels, but in significantly different sports.

In a fight to the death McGregor would win easily.

I take Ivan Drago by a Split Decision. Then he mounts his unicorn and rides off into the black hole that was discovered by scientists at NSB.
