Comments Thread For: Kell Brook: Canelo at 155 is a Step Too Far For Amir Khan

IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (35-0, 24KOs) believes Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) may have bitten off a little more than he can chew by accepting a bout with WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs) at a catch-weight of 155-pounds.

Brook just mad because he thought he had Khan bent over and ready accept his demands. Brook needs to quit fighting bums! This is the 3rd bum in a row he's fighting!

Kind of funny to read that a cherry-picker like Brook is telling a fighter with more guts "you've gone too far" lol..aka you actually took a challenge and I'm a pus who cherry picks bums at home...

After beating Porter I thought Brook would finally be willing to challenge himself and push for the bigger fights, unfortunately he seems to have gone backwards. The last 2 fights have been a joke and this next guy he is fighting lost to JoJo Dan. At least Khan is going for bigger fights even if he gets destroyed. Fighting Canelo would be far tougher than fighting Brook imo

Why doesn't Brook ever talk about Thurman, Bradley, Sadam Ali, or Danny Garcia? There are other challenges besides Amir Khan!

True and he has been unlucky with injuries but he should have never fought Frankie Gavin. He wanted to quick turn around fight. He has a history of injuries and I remember him pulling out of the Devon fight with injuries.

Brook should be calling out Thurman and Bradley. Spencer would be good name to beat as well. Get him whilst he's learning. As people (maywether) thinks he the future star.

Danny Garcia was a step to far

Khan has faced feather fisted fighters ever since

Brook would have been to far for amir too

Canelo shouldn't even be fighting khan tbf its a joke fight where a guy that has done nothing in the division bellow gets a title shot at the guy in a higher weight class

Canelo should be getting roasted a lot more than he is . only reason I can think of that he isn't is because everyone wants to see khan knocked the f**k out again so bad they are letting it slide

If Brook faced and beat the likes of Thurman/Garcia etc Khan would go looking for him (hopefully). After Porter he should have gone on to bigger and better fights but just ends up playing it safe (as much as you can at that level).

Damn shame as I do actually rate Brook.

That's my view , just a pity he gets all those millions his talent does'nt deserve ......this idiot has never beaten anybody apart from a raw Maidana who was knocking him all around the ring in the tenth.

I will stream this joke of a fight as I wouldn't put a bean in ole glass jaws pot....EVER!

I just want to see him dance ...AGAIN.
