As long as GGG continues to chase belts, the "big fights" and "big show" are gonna be harder and harder to get. He's already having to deal with being in a weak division where the top guys don't wanna fight him. And the more belts he collects, the harder the "big fights" are gonna be to make. Because being a unified champ is a full-time job. And that job is gonna consist of making mandatory defenses against the Wade's of the world pretty much everytime out. See Roy Jones. See Wladimir Klitschko.

Damn!! Remember how bad Roy was KiLLED for just fighting his mandatories??? And that was before Twitter, Facebook, etc,etc... He finally came around though and even moved up to HW. I don't expect ggg to ever go that Great. He will stat at MW and wait for the much better competition to move up in weight and then call them out.

Holding a belt hostage does not make Canelo the champ. It does make him a duck, a diva and a joke. Nothing more. He should at least be fighting a legit top ten MW at 160 to get ready for GGG.

For all the shhh this guy gets it amazes me people don't pick up on the pattern of those they love to toss around as potential opponents...How long before No Buzz Lara pops up to name drop him too and say he wants a fight only to announce who he really wants to fight next a few days after that. Saunders a straight up b*tch too, they were in your backyard homie, they came to meet with your boss face to face and clearly walked away with a big fat "NO".

Half the top 10 SWWs are really MWs starving themselves to make 154 so they don't have to fight in the same division as GGG.

Lara won't move up till GGG retires or moves up himself. When that happens, Lara and 3 or 4 other SWWs will suddenly find they can't make 154 any more and start fighting as MWs.

Lomachenko has a better resume then Golovkin, that's crazy when you think about it, Lomachenko has only six fights total, and now he wants Walters. Much respect to Kovalev and Lomachenko , real fighters.
Tureano Johnson was Golovkin's mandatory, when Johnson got injured , Golovkin could of easily got an extention to pick a better opponent, but in typical Golovkin fashion he chose a fourth string rookie prospect who just got a gift decision against an over the hill journeymen.

if he really wants the big fights and belt then he should pull canela's 155lb punk card. you say that you'll fight a retired mayweather at 154 and won't fight alvared at 155 expecially when he's the MW champion and your biggest payday.

You obviously have no idea how the IBF operates. You do not get to pick and choose your mandatory challengers, or when you are going to make your defenses.

You really should educate yourself, as it would make it less likely that you embarrass yourself with ignorant posts like this.....
