I still hold that GGG is untested and unwarranted hype. But still what wade is saying is silly. GGG has basic form not skills. He obviously uses timing, seen him do it against rosado because rosado was landing shot after shot of him so GGG used better timing to hit him between shots and back him up.

Wade better have a good chin or else he loses. If his defense is good and his chin holds up he can very comfortably outbox GGG, because he is faster and he has just as good if not slightly better boxing skills.

Other than that though, this kid gets stopped in three by body shots as he likes to keep a high guard and doesn't like to use his feet. He likes to catch and shoot. Unfortunately GGG is pitching howitzer shells and Wade ain't catching those.

Nothing wrong with being "basic" if you have perfected your style. Better than being a jack of all trades, master of none.

Besides, there's nothing "basic" about Golovkin. He's a very intelligent pressure fighter who puts opponents where he wants them.
