Who said you couldn't? The point is was any of the CBS shows last year produced by Showtime? No, Why not? Because PBC could actually afford to pay for their own fights. Now we see they can't afford to pay for fights even though they already paid for the air time that's why less fights the last few months and the ones that are made are going to Showtime. PBC has ZERO fights in March and nothing the remainder of Feb after a series low of just 2 shows. PBC was airing about 9 shows a month back in Sept and they already have network time prepaid for. So if they want they could have tons of PBC fights right now why don't they? But these lawsuits, bad TV ratings, and massive losses from their investors have nothing to do with it? I guess they simply don't want to air PBC fights and it's just a coincidence that it comes on the heals of all the reports of PBC running out of money.

Now Haymon will have to hand over documents that outline exactly what is going on with PBC and give sworn testimony. I also think these lawsuits are also linked to why we are seeing less PBC shows (the amount of PBC events per month has dropped EVERY month since Oct, falling to just 2 shows in Feb the lowest since PBC launched last year and ZERO scheduled in March) everything has been sent to Showtime. PBC investors are running out of money and Haymon has 2 hundred million lawsuits that's why they can't afford to put out PBC shows despite having already paid millions for the air time on all these different networks. My guess has always been in the end he will have to pay a large settlement for these lawsuit and officially declare himself either a Manager or a Promoter.
Have you actually looked at the PBC schedule/rumored shows? January and February were slow, but there are expected to be 8 shows in March, another 8-9 shows in April, and then the big summer ramp-up is coming (June/July/August will likely combine for 30 shows), before having to settle in and compete against football to close out the year.

Will laugh my ass off when the cases get dismissed after TR/GBP can't find anything, only to have to turn around and shell out a ton of money to All Star Boxing for stealing Canelo (Golden Boy) and have Mikey Garcia help set the precedent for the end of 'forever contracts' (Top Rank).

You mean the same rumors that said Thurman vs porter and Jacobs vs quillin would be on PBC? The same rumors 2 weeks ago that said khan was fighting Garcia next on PBC? Sorry not buying that. Fact is its mid Feb and no fights scheduled in march. How the hell can they do 8 shows if none have been announced? You need at least a damn month from when you announce to sell tickets. We are a week and half away from March where are the announcements for these mysterious 8 shows you blabbing about? Just like fools said the same thing a month ago when there was only 2 PBC shows scheduled and in Feb fools like you said more will be announced and clearly no more were ever added to Feb. I had debates with people like you in NOV/DEC when the amount of shows started dwindling and idiots said this was by design to avoid NFL/College Football and that wait till Feb/March when football is over that's when PBC will load up and flood the networks with shows. Instead the downward trend continued and got worse in Feb/March. The only shows that we have any legit info on are fights that MIGHT happen in April.

Why are these lawsuits even going to discovery didn't you predict both would be laughed out of court 8 months ago? You been wrong about a lot of these lawsuits. Top Rank forced Haymon to pay a settlement for Chavez last year. Oscar forced Haymon to pay a settlement last year. Both have a strong track record in court against Haymon. History shows he doesn't win he ends up cutting a settlement check.

As for these suits in particular, moreso TOp Rank, are hypocritical with their claims...we knowTRs in house formula and how theyve operated for yrs but Bob is saying Haynons wrong for it? Im siding with Haymon on this one...fk Arum. Crooks been raping fighters for yrs.

As for PBC im split honestly, i love boxing and the fact its accessible on basic cable but at the same time they can deliver such a great product in terms of matchups and significant bouts...but they dont, its puzzling. So if PBC goes under its not like were gonna miss out on big fights they never intended on making...but can and couldve.
They did; Oscar just thought that Haymon would still want to do business with him (after forcing out the actual guy that Haymon was happy to do business with), which was utterly foolish.

Seeing egg on his face, with the addition of all of the money people and AEG leaving Golden Boy, Oscar saw talk of the PBC lawsuit as a way to simply get Haymon to cut him a second check.

Haymon, being the careful man that he seems to be, will happily let Oscar blow all of his lawyer budget, let the judge come to the conclusion that was clear before the lawsuit was filed (you already got cut a check to fulfill the business split between Haymon and his fighters and Golden Boy), and move on with his own project.

                ^^^this, kinda

I'd actually compare it to the original NWA; one pool of talent and travelling stars, with different promoters dominant in their own markets(though all competing under the same banner) and every one of those promoters rallying together when an outside promoter would try to undercut their business.

Because as of today there is NOTHING. But I'm glad you realize that Jan/Feb is the slow time for boxing so that's why there are so few PBC shows is pure BS. The amount of shows PBC has been airing has been dwindling and running parallel to the reports that the TV ratings have been bad and that PBC is losing hundreds of millions on these shows. Haymon guys have still been fighting during this time just not on PBC. Spin it how you want if business were doing better they would actually be using the network air time that they already prepaid for. Seems like bad business to pay for something and simply not use it...unless the reports that it costs too much to produce these PBC shows and that they lose millions each event are true. Then it would make perfect sense why they are not airing events they are trying to limit their losses. But I thought things were going as planned for PBC? Lawsuits, class action suit against their investors, massive losses released by their investors in the 4th quarter of 2015 = totally unrelated to the wheels screeching to a halt on PBC events. Sounds about right.
Spence vs Algieri, from the Barclay Center, in primetime on NBC. The calendar is just starting to be rolled out; when June comes around, and PBC has another 10 shows to look towards, I hope you're still on here harping about "The end is near"
