That's the only fight the world wants to see at this point. Joshua vs Whyte was a great fight, full of drama, tension, genuine beef and a crazy atmosphere.

No heavyweight title fight for years has come close to matching that in terms of entertainment value. None.

Joshua vs Whyte II for the IBF HW title... Make it happen ASAP!

Maybe Martin should just vacate the belt and make Apr 9th Joshua vs Whyte for the vacant belt? lol

How can a rematch be massive when he all but said Joshua wasn't ready for a title shot? You took a good L bro, stand at the back of the line now.

No reason to rematch. Lose 2 or 3 more in a row and Wilder will fight him. BUM SQUAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically Whyte took Joshua 6 rounds....in those 6 rounds he caught Joshua with one massive left hook to the chin...Joshua then slightly stiffened but within 8 seconds was firing back and back in control .....after leaving Dillon Whyte in a drunken state....with his arm twisted and locked over the ropes and dribbling like a mongchat he's asking for a rematch lol.....we're not talking about a razor thin decision ....we're talking about a highly charged emotional fight where technical ability was set aside for a tear up.....if Joshua faced him next week...Dillon would not last 3 rounds if ever there was a rematch....I'm not even sure he has the dicpline to make a decent comeback ....AJ will improve leaps and bounds now

Whyte needs at least 2-3 more fights before a potential Joshua rematch. 1 or 2 gimmes to rebuild confidence in his shoulder/ get rid of ring rust, and 1-2 wins over decent opposition.

Im not interested in seeing a rematch at the moment.

The only reason Whyte says a rematch with Joshua would be a mega fight is because it would be a big money maker for him if it were for the IBF title. Nevertheless, I can't see it being as interesting or competitive as the first fight since the only reason Whyte landed some good shots on Joshua is because Joshua was emotionally charged due to Whyte's pre-fight trash talk and wanted to knock him out quick. After Joshua realized Whyte wasn't going to fall over easy, he settled down, got behind his jab, broke him down and knocked him over. I can't see there being a different outcome in a rematch. The only thing that I envision happening is Joshua not getting caught with any big shots and knocking Whyte out early since he made the correct adjustments in the first fight and now is more familiar with what Whyte brings to the table. I suppose those who argue that the rematch would be worthwhile may say that Whyte could make adjustments after being KO'd in the first fight but I just don't see that happening.
I'd be very surprised if that rematch happens but if it does, Whyte is going to be in for some more serious punishment. I think Joshua v Parker would be a more logical match up given Joshua gets past Martin. I'd love to see Joshua v Wilder or Ortiz as well but I don't know what the likelihood is of either of those match-ups happening.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if Joshua wins the IBF title, he takes a voluntary defense against someone like Chisora or Thompson before stepping up again.

                  No rematch.

He got his ass beat and brutally knocked out in the first fight. One moment if success doesn't warrant a rematch, let alone a world title shot.

Still, Eddie Hearn will be drooling about selling this world title rematch to the casual Sky Sports viewer.

An injured Dillian Whyte had Joshua out of there in the 2nd and 3rd rounds if he was more experienced he would of KOd AJ.

Whyte should get in better condition let his shoulder heal properly then comeback and have 3 or 4 fights before thinking of having a rematch.
