no. they are not accepted. did you not read my post about how gay and trans people can still be legally discriminated against? you think that's ok? if it were black people who were still considered second class citizens and they were complaining i wouldn't be like hey stop fussing! accept your role. i'm guessing if i was fighting for civil rights back in the day you would have called me an n-word lover since you called me gay and you think that's an insult which it is not.

i'm not sure i even understand what you are saying. you seem to be confusing gender with sex. yes they are trying to petition the government to get equal rights. same thing black people did in the 60's. obviously this is having a backlash and the people in power(white hegemony) are becoming angry. they see equal rights as them losing rights which is just silly. yes they lose the right to discriminate but you never should have had that right.
