This was more than just some bad press. I know he apologized, but the damage was already done and Nike did the right thing.

Everybody respects Manny the boxer but if you don't know how to carry yourself outside the ring and make those kind of offensive comments then you'll have to face the consequences. Nike should not treat Manny like he's a kid and let him get away with offensive ****phobic remarks that would get any other athlete fired in a heartbeat only because of his lack of education.

Manny is a grown man so he's responsible for his own actions. He happens to be a huge star a role model to millions of people and even a politician in his country. Pac may not be the smartest man in the world but with his amazing success and status he does have a big impact upon many people's lives. You'd think he should know better and also learn from his previous mistake when he got in trouble a few years ago over anti gay comments but he didn't, at least surround himself with better advisers. This time he messed up big time and had to pay the price.
