Sports manufacturing giant Nike is reportedly "preparing to drop" boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao from its list of sponsored athletes following his claims that gay couples are "worse than animals," according to TMZ.

Pacquiao has been a Nike athlete since 2006, and although TMZ added the decision isn't yet final, the outlet claimed it "appears to be moving in that direction." TMZ also noted Pacquiao merchandise has seemingly been dropped from the Nike website.

If gays have the highest suicide rate it's because they are discriminated and hated sometimes even by their own families, which causes them depression.

It's not their fault, it's the societies that still don't accept them.

And about Aids and other sexual diseases, they didn't bring them into the country. Heterosexual people also have them. And as long as you protect yourself with a condom and test yourself you won't have a sexual disease.

AIDS is not a consecuence of being gay, it's a consecuence of not using condom when having sex, which gays do more often because they ain't afraid of getting someone pragned. But using condoms and testing yourself will make you safe.

Nike is a corporation built on selling product to people, people who may not want to spend their money, buying product from a company that features a star who thinks gay people are less than animals.

No one is chasing Pacquiao, to try and put him in jail anywhere; Nike is simply left with making a business decision. Back a guy who may have their customer perceive 'Nike is a bigoted company' or not back the guy.
