I findi t difficult to understand why people are a fan of this guy?

Now, being a fan means to be subjective, not objective, if I was to be the latter, I can see that Ward is a good boxer who has underrated strength. But to be the former, how can one actually enjoy what Ward does?

He has zero personality, he has no flashy combinations or quick footwork or power and most of his fights are a combination of elbows, shoulders, headbutts and clinches. So, what is there to like from a subjective point of view?
