Comments Thread For: Roach: Atlas Will Ruin Bradley With Those Stories, Cause KO Loss

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is predicting a knockout victory when Manny Pacquiao steps in the ring with Timothy Bradley for a third time on April 9th from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision when the boxers met for the first time in 2012. Pacquiao won the 2014 rematch, with a twelve round unanimous decision.

Shame that these guys cannot respect each other. Every trainer at some point has had a "ready made" fighter. Roach hit gold with Manny, but that doesn't mean every other trainer is crap. Steward hit gold with Lewis and Wlad. Teddy is who he is and the fighters who request him know what they're getting just like they know what they're getting with they request Freddy Roach. Teddy may or may not help fighters mentally. He provides a mental game style of training from my view. It's not a bad thing, but there is no one size fits all. Roach cannot turn any fighter into Pacman just like Steward couldn't turn every fighters into Lennox Lewis.

Many times their goal is to bring out the best of what the fighter naturally has while helping incorporating new things into that natural ability to enhance it. If they don't have the same natural abilities as another great, then there is only so much you can enhance.

Teddy Atlas will ruin Timothy Bradley with his stories, because his stories have nothing to do with boxing. There’s no instruction of how to get better, all they heard in his last fight was that he was not scared of fire and that he trains in the heat.
OH MY GOD **** Teddy and Bradley, those two nutcases.

I agree with all you said except for Steward, he did not hit gold with Lewis and Vlad, he actually made them who they became. He took Tommy Hearns from a youth to who he became. Manny Steward was in my opinion, the last of the true teachers of the sport. Freddy and Teddy are great, don't get me wrong, but Emmanuel Steward was a different animal.

Bradley is a marginal fighter with a lot of heart-that's it

Bradley isn't a great fighter just a good hard working pug with heart. Nothing special about Bald Brad anyway. Brad ain't beating manny this 3rd time either and brad ain't beating Thurman or Porter or Spence or Brook either. Not sure if Bald cannonball Head Bradley beats Broner or Khan. All Teddy Me Atlas Bull crap isn't making Bradley any better anyway. Average fighter who gives his all and that ain't much against the top guys as Paq has shown.

Roach really has it out for Teddy! Roach and his knockout predictions is getting ridiculous! Bradley & Manny has fought 24 rounds without a knockout coming close! Manny was suppose to demolish Bradley the previous two bouts, not even close! What will be Roach excuse when Bradley beats Manny? If Bradley boxes Manny, he will win this fight! Manny isn't knocking anyone out!

OK.... if Roach is predicting a KO, I'm putting my money on Bradley.
