Interesting that Roach says both Pac and Crawford wanted it.

But I honestly don't know who to believe in that camp anymore. Freddie sometimes seems misinformed about a lot of things. And it goes without saying that Arum lies constantly.

Granted i might be underestimating crawford but honestly i dont think i am i think people are underestimating manny after the floyd fight to be honest
I feel the same way. I love me some Crawford, but there are levels to this. He needs a few more step up fights before he's ready for Pacquiao.

I think it's a toss up. Also I think Crawford is nothing like Mayweather. They're just both black lol. Crawford let's his hands go a lot more, he's more aggressive and he will go for the KO if he hurts you. It's clear that Crawford can punch and prefers to KO dudes, Mayweather for one reason or another definitely can't punch anymore and prefers to play defense more. I'm not saying Crawford is better than Mayweather, i'm saying they're both a different type of good, and Pacquiao's performance against Mayweather does not determine his performance against Crawford. Crawford may beat him worse than Mayweather, or Crawford may look worse than Mayweather.

Interesting fight while it would not last the full 12 rds i would say pac by ko in 7. Gamboa who was alot smaller than crawford and hadnt fought in some time was tagging the hell out of crawford. If the fight would of gotten made and crawford would of let his hands go and tried to trade with pac it would be his worst mistake. crawford doesn't have the experience or style to hang with pac.

agreed hbo is trying very hard to push crawford as the next big thing in the 140-147 weight range but the reality is he has not even fought a big name fighter in that class so to think he could beat pac im just not buying it.

Manny is still tough I think he would be too seasoned for Crawford right now , and it could go the the way and Crawford explodes into the big time , Bob is looking at the what makes him the most money .

I think that's an accurate prediction alright, but I don't know if Pac-Crawford would have been a PPV winner either.

Interesting to see the split opinion on this fight. A lot of people think Crawford's not ready for many. A lot more think Manny is too over the hill to live with Crawford.

Arum must think it's the latter, because he'd have no problem feeding Manny to Crawford if he thought his rising star would wipe him out. And Arum definitely killed this fight. The confusion around what happened makes that clear.

Seems like a missed opportunity for Crawford. Where is the crossover fight going to be if not with Pacquiao?

I don't mind paying top dollar for a seat to see a great scrap multiple times. I am attending this fight to see hands being thrown and heads fall, this is no boring fight. There is not one moment in Pac vs Bradleys series that was even remotely close to the unbearable scenery inflicted upon the public when floyd decided to dance around and hug for $300 million dollars. In the old days you couldn't even get a fight the way this guy fights NOW. I attended that fight too, was going for floyd but he totally let me down, embarrasses me an american getting tossed around the ring by a dude with one arm. I expected him to stand there like he did with Cotto and trade ( I also attended that fight as well). Crawford and Bradley are a much better fight as a buying customer, So I'm happy this 3rd fight is taking place. If you stream from home i don't even expect you to comprehend the quality of live prizefights, nothing will be satisfying enough for a freeloader lol. I don't need biased commentary ruining my experience. (HBO, SHOWTIME) The fireman joke is pretty lame tho Teddy, stop it.

                    Cough cough BS!!!

                    He clearly ducked Crawford.
Crawford has high ring IQ and power in both hands. Enough to KO and embarrass the veteran Pacquiao. Duck
