Pacquiao is entitled to his opinion but I think he went too far when he said they're worse than animals. I know in his own mind he can justify his remarks but he sounds like a hateful person when you make comments like that. Imagine one of his children grow up to be gay. Would he feel the same way then?

i'm all for people having their beliefs and thinking what they want to think and yes I lost more respect for him With the original comments and then lost even more when he backed away however I do understand why he backed away being in his position but in no way is this a language barrier thing

I understand he is against gay marriage but I would take it a step further and say he is against gay lifestyle. I also understand his opinion is based on his religious belief. However, when you compare human beings to animals and then say animals are better because they don't engage in ****sexual behavior (which he's wrong), you send the wrong message. He is right to apologize but he should have just kept (the comparison to animals) to himself.

****sexuality is not normal and never will be. You can spout all the nonsense you want about personal freedom, it doesn't change the fact that well adjusted humans will always feel averse to deviant and abnormal behaviour.
