Does your wife/girlfriend watch boxing?

        No she doesn't! My wife was the second woman to work a fight corner (pro) at Madison Square Garden NYC.
        She also was the first woman to assist me in the corners at the Region 1 qualifiers & finals in Holyoke Mass. & Lowell Mass.
        She thinks the weighin promo's are ridiculous and the ring entrance show is equally corny, ha! Liked Tyson because she knew him when he boxed on the Region 1 team.

        Every sat & sun mornings I have coffee with a group of friends who are past amateur and professional athletes and not one of them has any interest in today's boxing. They are older men from the Holmes to Tyson era's who have lost interest mainly because there isn't a polarizing figure to lead the sport.
        Unfortunately many casual fans think the same way, to much pomp and not enough substance for them.
