    Loma will duck Walters.

He'll never take a hard fight again. Can anyone name Loma's last 3 opponents? Valdez is fighting a better opponent than the bums Loma cherry picks.

Yet Arum is afraid to put Valdez in the ring with Loma. I don't blame him, Valdez would get undressed like he did in the amateurs.

What I find funny is that Valdez is actually the no.1 ranked fighter at WBO, so he's basically a mandatory for Lomachenko's title. Arum has both fighters under Top Rank, but will he put them in the ring together? Not a chance!

Valdez has a much bigger following than Lomachenko and he can't risk him getting embarrassed, so he wants Lomachenko to move up to 130 and vacate the title so he can hand it to Valdez.

I expect Lomachenko to move up to 130 and eventually fight Walters.

Loma probably refused Valdez. We know Loma likes 4 loss domestic fighters.

He refused to fight a guy that he dominated in the amateurs 12-1, who has a big Mexican following? I seriously doubt that...

If anything Arum wants to keep both of them winning, but he knows the more valuable of the two is Valdez because of the Mexican following he has. If he puts Valdez in with Lomachenk, it's over for him. He doesn't want to derail the momentum of one of his top prospects.

Why is there so much criticism on this site about Loma? I don't think he would duck Walters. I think its a fight that can definitely happen. Remember, Walters is the guy who couldn't stop eating and partying after knocking out Donaire and then had a date canceled because he was out of shape and then when he came back to the ring, he missed weight. That wasn't Loma's fault. I would agree that Top Rank should be doing a better job with their Eastern Euro fighters. Top Rank seems to specialize in creating hispanic stars. But none of this is Loma's fault.
