I read a lot about these guys and there is actual footage that is surfacing over the years.


This thread is a tribute to them and all the fighters of all races and creeds that didnt get their deserved title fights but beat world class and hall of fame opposition
Out of this exclusive group...Only Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore who fought these great fighters many times, ever went on to win world titles...this group included but wasnt limited to elmer ray, lloyd marshall, holman williams, charley burley, aaron Wade, Cocoa Kid, Jimmy Bivins, Jack Chase, etc

Cocoa kid fought everyone available he could ...was world ranked a long time....In all fairness most if not all puerto ricans are part black...no different than people of color in the south "African-Americans"...only difference is in the Caribbean they speak spanish, French or the indigenous tongue...african americans are mixed with native american, african, and european blood just like our caribbean brothers and sisters.

Puerto rican is a nationality...not a race

The last few years, footage has been popping up but I've read about most of these guys in my early teens.
