Hardly surprising Joshua and his team have gone down this route. Easiest route to a world title and he can still "develop" because the IBF usually force regular mandatory fights against poor opposition, or at least guys he would probably be moving up to fight anyway. So he can kill 2 birds with 1 stone in winning a title and still develop his game.

Apart from him just getting handed the belt, this is about as easy as it gets. I don't see Martin going past 2 rounds here... He's the slowest HW I've seen since Valuev. He's probably as fast as Taishon Dong.

There are some sexy odds in there. Does seem wider than expected, but lets be real Martin is unproven & the Joshua hype might be the biggest at HW since Mike Tyson so its not unsurprising.

What were the Joshua vs Whyte odds?

I'm also feeling the over/under on Joshua signing a adviser deal with Haymon just went lower.

With all the money that's gonna be coming in on Joshua I'm surprised it's not wider. Brits love to bet. Better jump on this now I expect the odds to be wider once the money starts pouring in on Joshua.

who the hell is Charles Martin anyway unknown in USA

Martin is a nobody fought nobody but got a belt as boxing hands out title belts like Halloween candy anyone can get a treat err title belt. Martin could rob a bank in America without a mask on and authorities would have clue who robbed the bank. Martin is a joke. Wins a fight off a knee injury and now talks like Martin is Ali. What a fricking hoot.

The worst thing about this. The British media will absolutely lap this up if he wins the title, like he's become a great world champion when he will have defeated a paper champion who won via injury.

Yet they will still try to bring Fury down when he went and beat a true great in heavyweight history in terms of dominance over an era, possibly the most dominant ever (not saying he's the best)

Get a hundo on that for sure. Joshua is a massive liability no matter who he is fighting. A random name generator has a good shot at knocking out Anthony Joshua...

Gotta love the Prince. When he said he wants to fight the best and unify all titles he meant it. He won't be able to do it but at least he backs up his tough talk unlike that B1tch wilder. Fight another un ranked bum wilder, observe a real champion defend his title or attempt to.
