Money talks, but full credit to him for taking this fight.
I agree with the first win. The second win is even if he loses he'll get a big payday.

But if he loses I doubt he'll be able to get many fights. 6'5 southpaw with power? Not most people's cup of tea to be honest, but let's see.

He might fight someone like Ortiz or Thompson even in defeat.

    • wow, couldn't imagine a more disappointing way for joshua to arrive/win a title, imagined this big showdown with the incumbent (actual) champion

      boxing always tends to disappoint

        • I have a feeling that when Joshua wins, he is going to do a Kell Brook and fight nothing but bums.

          • Hopefully after evefyone does their next fight, we can have a tournament between Fury, Wilder, Ortiz, and Joshua.

he has no power. did you see the czar fight? his punches were the slowest things ever. i can't imagine him generating any power from them. he's never ko'd anyone relevant so how can you say he has power?

He's not a huge power but he does have nice pop. Also, any man who's 6'5, 250 pounds can kncck you out. AJ better be careful.

no I didn't see that fight. But I have seen some highlights of him fighting. Not impressed really but he does have power. Not equalizing power, but power nevertheless.

                  • I fear for Martin in this fight. The gap is quality is massive.

Joshua can ko fighters with very short punches. He knocked out a guy who had never even been on the floor amateur or pro with a shot close in that barely flew a foot.

I will be amazed if Martin lasts more than 3.

those are pretty low standards and yes they can knock me out since im a bum but joshua is a world class boxer so he shouldn't have a problem with a man who throws punches so slowly that you can time them with a calendar
