Comments Thread For: Jean Pascal Cautioned To Take Signficant Time Off By Promoter

Former WBC light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal is eager to get back in the ring, but his promoter is hoping the fight takes a decent amount of time off to recharge his batteries.

Late last month, Pascal was battered over seven rounds by IBF/WBO/WBA light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

True, he needs a year off. That said, the sport needs more guys like him and Barrera who are willing to defy the odds and fight the best guys in their division.

              What a warrior.

I'm proud to see the guys I back walk towards and not away from fire. Degale, King, Frampton, Pascal and Postol etc.

Rest a few months. Rest a year. Rest a few years. It doesn't matter. Gene Pascal is done.

Pascal is a brave man.. not like his countryman Chickenson

hope he takes some time off to heal and returns in 2016
