These men are professionals, the fight should happen. The size difference isnt gonna get someone hurt. Rigo relies off of defense anyway. Its a big fight for both guy and should get done. A loss doesnt mean the end in a fight like this. Make it happen!!
lomo shouldnt be trying to fight a guy who doesnt even rehydrated past 126lbs normally...i dont like that crap.
loma only rehydrates to 134 yet is willing to move to 134 to fight walters who rehydrates to over 140. That tells you who is willing to take risks and doesn't stay ducking
People keep saying that Donaire was 140, but where is the evidence? So you're telling me that Donaire has been in the high 120's and low 130's in all of his fights excpet against Rigo?
Why wasn't he 140 when he fought Walters (and that fight was fought at Featherweight). That fight would have made more sense for him to come in at a higher weight, but he didn't. He was like what, 133, 134 against Walters and against everyone else he was either in the high 120's to low 130's. When Donaire fought in the lower weights he came in the mid-120's on fight night, but against Rigo he was 140? People are just making that number up. Or where is the evidence?
I noticed that number keeps changing as well. Some people say Donaire was in the high 130's and others say he was as high as 145. Why does it keep changing from person to person? Oh that's right, because people are making up the number that would best suit them. They have no evidence.
People just want to give Rigo more credit. They say, "Oh Rigo beat a 140 pound Donaire. WOW!!"
If people would research before opening their mouth they'll see that the weight of Donaire against all his opponents and will see that he actually weighed less than most of his opponents during his prime.
hbo basically wont let rigo on unless he goes up in weight at 35 years old..its crap..he should go to 118 and call out choco and all those guys fightin at lower weights who rehydrate more than him
Yeah, **** that. I think it's a winnable fight for Rigs depending on what he has left, but people have to realize Rigs is like 5'2 1/2 to 5'3. Lomachenko is 5'6 1/2 to 5'7. Rigs is giving up a whole lot in size and weight. Lomachenko is a much better boxer than Donaire is, and a fight with Lomachenko won't bring Rigs super fight type money, so why even worry about a bigger man, who is afraid to fight Walters, but calls out a guy he will outweight by 10 + pounds in the ring and have four inches in height on. Rigs should try to make 118, and take some of those guys out, or stay busy and wait for Quigg.

To be fair though, he is a really really small 122, he could move down if he wanted easily. Dude is 5'4 and thats with the official scales which means he is probably 5'3 or 5'2, and he is not built thick. You can guarantee on fight night he is 122lb.
Rigs is 5'2 1/2 to 5'3 max. Look at his face offs with different opponents, or photos with different guys. Agbeko is listed at 5'5, he is at least two inches taller than Rigs during their face off. Donaire, was also significantly taller than Rigs. Santa Cruz looked like 7 inches taller than Rigs when they took that one photo together.

Your post suggests that Donaire weighed around the same as Rigs (122) in the ring. That is laughable. Donaire visually looked to have at least 10 pounds on the Cuban. It literally looked like a lightweight against a bantamweight.

i thought i recalled lomo being at clean over 135..and walters just amkes that seem low bc he goes even higher..

it bothers me bc these fans dont want him in a fair top fight....and it is normally the "hbo" fans..bc it is obvious that is hbo's model...look at them only fightin haymon guys when the haymon guys are a huge Bside/underdog...that transfer to rigo to bc he is their enemy...
im sorry about that and i love lomo..but i dont like b1tch moves..and business decisions..dont use a gaint to devalue a great small fighter..that is doing it right as far as weight class go and not over rehydrating
