i think rigo would have a shot and lomo would to, its just not advantageous for a 36 year old to be going up in weight that he cant even rehydrate from to fight a SKILL fighter...

i cant speak for everyone else, but im a bigger lomo fan than rigo fan 2ndly.

look i dont play the on the scale game! i play the in the ring weight game and choco is the same weight as rigo in the ring..and i respect fighters who dont have high rehydrations, low 30 way ins every fight..it means they are fighting in their normal weight class..i feel he can make 118 without strain at all....u sure rigo was 119 as a teen lol if u are going by his goldmedals the man was 26 or a little older even..lol no where near a teen hahaha

hey but rigo is a great fighter..so if he did go up and fight lomo i would give him a chance..i personally just favor fairly weighed fights...hell im in favor of adding more classes from 175-200...and also adding more classes after Hw..i wouldnt mind it

I understand why people want to see Rigo-Choco fight. Choco comes in at almost the same weight as Rigo on fight night. I think Rigo beats Choco. And since people don't like certain fighters getting any praise they can't wait to see fighters like Choco lose so they could say he was "exposed". I'm not a Choco fan, but he deserves his credit. He's been champion since 2008. He's defeated more former/current World Champions than almost every other fighter (except the obvious ones like BHop and Pac). Just because people don't follow those weight classes they say everyone is a bum since they don't really know them. That could be done for every weight class though.
Rigo is a special talent (that's why I would favor him over Choco, not because Roman is a bum), I don't know why people are scared of him having a few fights at 126. I would favor Rigo over everyone except Loma and it's not like he won't have a chance against Loma. There's a lot of boxing writers, reporters, trainers that would favor Rigo over Loma.
If Rigo is P4P #2, according to some people, then he should be able to beat the "bum" Loma, right?

I want to see Loma-Rigo. When are we ever going to get 2 2x Olympic Gold Medalist that fight around the same weight class? When are we ever going to see that again? We might as well take advantage of the opportunity. The skill level would be amazing. I doubt Rigo gets any of bigger names anyway. Choco has several fights that will keep him busy at 112 and 115 for a few more years. Donaire is (almost) done, I see Top Rank feeding him to one of their younger fighters rather than fighting Rigo again. I'm still not 100% sure that the winner of Frampton-Quigg will fight Rigo.
Why not have a Loma-Rigo fight? It's not like Loma is going to brutally stop him. It's going to be a technical fight not a potential career ending type of fight. A defeat hurts Loma more than it hurts Rigo imo.

Most of the time he comes in the low 130's (132-134), around the same weight(s) Donaire used to come in at. Donaire would come in the high 120's to low 130's. Rigo usually comes in from 126-128. donaire was 140 are the talk from the rigo fight..he even mentioned his walk around weight was 140...i mean just bc rigo fought ppl that big once doesnt mean he needs to keep doing it...hey but he's a grown man..if he wants the fight fine..if he doesnt i dont mind it nor would i mind it for anyone else who is not a big rehydrater and pretty old...

Not only is it a good idea for Rigo to ask for a catch weight but he should also ask for a hydration limit. Rigo's just way to small to fight a guy with Lomas skill at 126 that's going to weigh 135 on fight night.

Loma saying da issue is $..to me this da best fight in boxing right now..skill wise. .and it can generate decent $..put it on a ppv undercard co main event ..imo fight should be at 126..if Rigo wants a dehydration clause for Loma. .Loma should accept since Rigo accepts da fight at 126..imo Rigo wins by close decision at any weight ..won't be surprise if Loma wins a close one either..he is that good.
