Not publicly but it's common knowledge that Cotto and Margarito likely had rehydration clauses.

Pacquiao really hurt the sport with all of his diva catchweight demands. 145 vs. Cotto, 150 vs. Margarito, 144 vs. Marquez, 144 vs. Algieri. It's disgusting really. It really hurts his legacy at the higher weights IMO.

Links? Margarito was 165 fight night, some rehydration clause lol

Marquez demanded a CW vs Pac, Algieri was moving up in weight. That's a concession. So Pac imposed 2 CWs total, and went more divisions than anyone ever without CWs

this is a step back for cotto who i thought won the alvared fight. this should'nt happen under any circumstances no matter what JMM says. cotto should be targeting a alvared rematch or all 154lb champions.

Pacquiao demanded the Marquez catchweight. We all saw what Marquez did to Pacquiao at the full welterweight limit (he nearly killed him). Pacquiao was trying to weaken him in their third fight.

It is publicly known that Algieri was moving to welterweight with or without the Pacquiao fight. Pacquiao was afraid of how big Algieri might be on fight night so he imposed the catchweight in order to weaken him. Algieri only made the JWW limit once in his career.

In hindsight, Pacquiao was afraid of fighting at the higher weights. He constantly demanded catchweights in order to weaken his opponents. And you support this fraud? Shame on you, sir!

Demands like these just amplify Khan's balls in taking the Canelo fight at Canelo's weight. Canelo is a MIDDLE WEIGHT (LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT ON FIGHT NIGHT). Khan is a welterweight.

Shame on you, liar. Marquez' only fight above Jww was that CW vs Floyd, he went back down after Pac 3. For Algieri see

Where are those rehydration limit links?

You're not that bright. Here's a link quoting Algieri that he wanted the Pacquiao fight at 147.

WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs) has been watching Manny Pacquiao for years. On November 22nd, Algieri is going to challenge Pacquiao for the WBO welterweight title in Macau, China. When they met for the first time, and went face to face at the kickoff press conference in China, Algieri admits that he was surprised with just how small the Filipino fighter was.

It even took Algieri a second attempt to even make weight. He was extremely weakened by Pacquiao's diva demands.
