I hope he fights GGG and thus does one last favor to the Boxing community by destroying a hype.

GGG is the most realistic. And while he'll most likely lose, I rather see him fight the best than some random guy and win.

The problem with the GGG bout is that if it's at 168 then Hopkins could be severely weight-drained. It sounds like an exciting fight on paper but the weight issue is a lot to ask anyone, especially a 51 year old man.

Look what happened when Dawson went down from 175 to 168, he was knocked out by a light-hitting Ward and was never the same again since.

Well it would depend for sure if Hopkins can make 168. He says he can but we won't know until we find out. I get that he's 51 but he's not your typical 51 year old, as much as people want to demean it.

Go out on an easy win against an average contender who doesn't have KO power. Don't throw away your near 70 fight career with no stoppage losses now, keep that stat for your ATG legacy.

Abraham or someone like that. Hopkins needs to have an opponent he can control the pace with, keep it a low work-rate fight, Abraham is perfect for that.

Hopkins is way too old to go up in weight again, we saw how physically smaller and weaker he was against a big light heavyweight in Kovalev. If he's going down he shouldn't go any lower than 168-170.

Personally I don't think he needs to prove a damn thing, his legacy is set in stone. I'd like to see him fight some Shumonov or Murat type of an opponent with little risk and a big chance to look goodz have fun and give his fans some entertainment. The last thing us Hopkins fans want to see is him go down, get hurt or even stopped. It's always cool to be able to retire after such a long time of fighting and say hey, I never got knocked out! I'd hate to see him lose that by some meaningless fight at age 51.

If Haymon fighters can truly fight who they want; I'd pick Degale. Not easy work, but far from a hard hitter and a realistic win for BHop. Another title in another Weightclass before retiring would look real nice.

Stevenson got most votes and is the most logical opponent no doubt. It's a shame he's not willing to step up though. It seems that the Stevenson camp are actually running scared of B-Hop now.
