If Khan hadn't got himself mollywhopped by Danny Garcia, he would've likely lined himself to fight Floyd May 2013 (in the slot that went to Robert Guerrero; Guerrero wouldn't have been able to walk away from a sizable site fee, especially with an assumed successful Mayweather-Khan PPV taking the pressure off of everyone to rush into the Alvarez fight).

floyd only fought ghost bc he just got out of jail and was looking for an easy fight..it was a tune up...bad on his resume, but understandable

floyd did not beat maidana "decisively" ..and if the "timing" wasn't right for khan, how was it ever right for ortiz, berto and guerrero? khan is better than all three of them combined.

Khan had been knocked out more times than all 3 of them combined.

Khan never did anything at welter to demand that fight.

And lol at that guy. Maybe Khan woulda beat Berto if he managed to not get touched but he'd have lost to Guerrero (hell...he might still lose to guerrero you never know with Khan) and the Ortiz from the berto fight would have put on a savage beating on Khan. Probably the worst matchup you can think of for Khan (aside from this Canelo fight)
