You say not true, but you didn't name a fighter to prove me wrong.

Henry Armstrong is an ATG and he was a brawler, but also skilled. See, style isn't necessarily definitive when determining greatness; achievement is though. Harry Greb, Jack Dempsey, Julio Cesar Chavez, Roberto Duran... all aggressive fighters... ATG's.

I have no issue with using movement/defense, its part of the game. Issue is with the lack of enforcement of fouls like hugging/ducking below waistline, or excessive movement (avoiding the fight).

I do wish these "defensive geniuses" fought more like Toney, standing in the pocket and making them miss not being chased around the ring all night. Wonder what would happen if you get two guys that refuse to engage in the same ring? Just imagine Floyd v Rigo...

Personally, I don't think backwards movement is ring generalship, sure it dictates the pace of the fight, but when over-done, its just plain avoiding the fight.

The actual sport of boxing is better off not having fans such as yourself.

Watching those two clowns is basically watching UFC ( holding ) Real defense is Slipping like Tyson, blocking your shots,in and out to make your opponent miss bobbing and weaving like Fraizer. So Phuck off

                  Good list.

But duran had plenty of skills. And heavyweights don't count. They can end a fight with one punch. So they don't tend to move

Aggressive and toe to toe are two different things
