Solid welter contender. Pea was past it when they fought and not exactly motivated their first fight. Not a great style matchup for Pea either but he clearly won the rematch. Was iced by a prime Oscar who he was simply too slow, not powerful enough and too chinny to keep up with. He did expose how badly ruined Fernando Vargas was after the Tito fight when he dropped him and him out on his feet in the early rounds.

Look, I dont care what anyone says, fighters today are better than the old school fighters. They are faster, stronger and way more advanced. Even guys like Cotto give Leonard a tough fight. Pac would have embarrassed Leonard, Duran, etc. Margarito would walk down hearns. So keep that in mind when watching old tapes, watch full fights not highlights. Wilfredo would beaten down to the ground today by B- level fighters like Danny Garcia.
