People are claiming Canelo to have a solid grounding in defence, after his fight with a Miguel Cotto. There is a GIF going round of Canelo dodging Cotto's punches. That might well be true....but Cotto has a reach of 67", and Khan has a reach of 71". Khan's reach was measured at age 18, he probably has a reach of 72".Khan could quite easily outbox Canelo by controlling the range, and the jab alone.

Logic says Khan gets KTFO, but I have a feeling that Khan is going to outbox and frustrate Canelo come May 7th.

Cotto did well. I gave him 5 rounds against Canelo. His conditioning was better than I've ever seen from him. He was just way too small in there. He should consider moving back down to welterweight.

Khan is going to put up a great fight as well.

      Is it my gif?

By the way, Cotto gets low, pivots and rolls shots pretty well, Khan does neither.

Yes. It is your GIF. Just look at that GIF again. Now imagine Cotto had longer arms and a faster speed. That is what will happen to him with Khan. He also has his arms down. Can't through any thing back!

Khan will have to fight tall

Khan doesn't fight tall though. Khan is a clumsy fighter who darts in and out in a straight line. No angles.

He won't be able to do what floyd and lara did.

Khan will look good early before getting took apart.

Khan has to fight a perfect fight to win and khan isn't capable of doing that against prime fighters.

peterson, maidana, garcia, algeiri all manage to put hands on khan at some point in the fight, I expect the same from canelo.

            Canelo by decision

Difference is, Cotto is a better puncher than Khan and his attack is more educated, you see where Canelo is moving back? Against Khan you won't be seeing any of that, he'll look to catch and shoot similar to how Garcia disposed of Khan.
