I'm surprised how much Hatton gets played down as a fighter. I'm not saying he was an incredible fighter but he was still an excellent fighter for a short while. Sadly he never lived the life of a fighter and that Floyd fight broke him really. But he put up a hell of a better fight against Floyd than some fighters who get praised to the heavens by boxing fans did. The reason he got knocked out was because he was a fighter who always left it all in the ring and against real Elite fighters you might pay for it. Then he was already done when Pacquiao finished him off.

Hatton between 2005-2007 would smash any current 140 fighter, and that includes the likes of Garcia before he moved up.

Bottom line was when he stepped up he got KO'd, Floyds best is probably 130 if your comparing him with boxing histories best. So if Hatton weighs 140 or 153 or 210 he gets stopped when he steps up to world wide competitors.
