Mayweather has been the headliner in the richest fight in the history of the sport twice now. Why he would be jealous is beyond me, but believe what you like

Idk about this. Granted I think its a rough transition for an elite level boxer go into training these guys who sometimes aren't capable of half the things they were in their prime, but there are a ton of elite level boxers, although I'd agree not really on Floyd's level, in boxing. Roger, Robert Garcia & Buddy McGirt would be the top three guys that come to mind as elite level boxers who became elite level trainers.
Having said all that, I think Floyd needs to figure out if he wants to be a promoter wearing nice clothes at the fight or a trainer wearing sweatpants in the corner during the fight soon cuz that Gervonta Davis nuttiness was unprofessional, just bad form & is some **** that needs to be figured out & corrected asap for the benefit of Mayweather's fighters. I think one of the biggest problems with Mayweather promotions boxers is a lot of these guys are trying to impress or not let down Floyd then worried about just winning the f#cking fight.Comment

Using your own logic you are saying that "Floyd can't be a good trainer when he doesn't know how to lose" so that means Mayorga can be a great trainer because he knows how to lose?
Maybe Pacman can be a great trainer?
Maybe Margarito?
Because they know how to lose? What kind of flawed logic is that?Comment

You'll see what I mean when Floyd tries to actually take training up. He's just way too successful and will expect boxers he's training to pull off things only he could have done, and get out of jams he could get out of in his prime with ease, and adjust with ease. His advice will come from his experience, and his experience has been almost flawless. Despite his critics here catching 2-3 in-ring mishaps and blowing it up, it's been pretty flawless. That's going to hurt him as a trainer. When his fighter gets knocked down, and has to survive, what is Floyd going to say when he's never been in that situation to experience it first hand. What's he gonna do, make something up on what he would do if it was him?--------------------------------------------------

You do make a lot of sense with what you are saying and I agree with you that Floyd will NEVER make a great trainer but it's not because he never lost.
Floyd's ego is just too big for him to guide other fighters especially those that can never be as good as him.Comment
