Canelo is ducking Chavez Jr, that fight can sell out Cowboys stadium

Canelo walks around close to 200 pounds, he is only 5 foot 7 but he is very strong and stocky similar to Tyson who was short but big and strong for a heavyweight despite being under 6 foot.

Chavez Jr if he kept his diet in check he could make 165 catchweight.

Chavez Jr is not a monstrous puncher despite his massive size walking around at 6 foot 2 and over 230 pounds.

Why hasn't Canelo entertained this fight? I heard Chavez Jr has a similar clause that Khan has in his contract that allows him to make any fight and Haymon cannot block it.

If this fight ever happens it will be huge, 100 thousand sold out at Cowboys stadium, mexican TV ratings breaker, and over 1.5 million ppv buys in the states.

I have Canelo in that fight, by KO.

    Chavez cannot make 160lbs.

As Canelo does not appear willing to fight over 155lb at the moment I cannot see him agreeing to fight Jr above 160.

never ever agree to a proposed fight weight with Chaves. 165 would end up at 178 by fight weigh in.
This is all chavez fat fault. When he has 160 thus fight was realistic but he completely skipped 168 and went to 172

I'm sure if JR agrees to 155, the fight can be made.

The thing with Chavez is he is lazy, the guy can make 160, he just doesnt have discipline. I have a friend who is 6 foot 2 and walks around at 180 he used to weigh 240 pounds and bloated. He has been walking around at 180-185 for 4 years. He told me that the mistake people make when loosing weight is they want quick results so they drastically change the diet, he said it takes time, you want to lose fat slowly not quickly he calls it tapering off the calories, while keeping your cardio workouts up every day.

Chavez Jr is just a lazy spoiled fool, he should be walking around at 180 and making 160 or 168 with no problem. But he cant stop eating bad fatty food.

Chavez can barely make 170. Make all the excuses you want but they're just excuses, Chavez is ****ing huge. He's 2 divisions bigger than Alvarez. There is no ducking with fighters 2 divisions apart.

Chavez Jr is 29 years of age; Alvarez is 25 years of age. Chavez Jr, if he's able to stick to a conditioning/diet program and train hard, will likely campaign at 168 for another 3-4 years, before the body forces him into retirement (once he can no longer comfortably get down to 168, I don't think he competes all that well at 175). Canelo Alvarez, once he's settled iinto his frame, will likely spend the bulk of his career campaigning at 160, heading to 168 towards the end of his run.

It's not like either guy is hurting for fights at the moment.

Once things start drying up, Canelo's camp talks to Chavez Jr's camp, and both guys pocket a massive payday (likely booked for T-Mobile Arena(with closed circuit across all of the MGM Resort properties, since no one wants to leave all of that extra money on the table).

When Canelo decides to move up to you know, LIGHT HEAVY WEIGHT....then they could possibly fight. In the meantime, let's just hope Jr doesn't get white washed out of boxing....
