Eli Sechbback has had some videos asking sparring partners about Golovkin's power. They pretty much all say he hits like a HW. Some guys wonder why; there's no simple answer. Born with it, plus technique, plus accuracy.

Deontay Wilder is a monstrous puncher, Danny Garcia @140 was a pretty massive puncher; Golovkin is not such a puncher.
So you saying Garcia hits harder than GGG? If so and you're not being sarcastic you have just taken hating to a whole new level.

He KO'd Nobuhiro Ishida, who has never been KO'd by anyone, including Paul Wiliams and Pirog.

He KO'd Macklin with a sick body shot

Both took 3 rounds, and both were pretty brutal shots.

His 'punching power' is also a hype just like himsef.
You wanna know what the punching power is? Check out some one punch ko stars.
"Hey aren't you Mike Tyson, aren't you that knockout kid?"
GGG is big and walking though his opponents and doing some slow machine gun punches.

Post-2000 Europeans always trounce Americans in power. Don't believe me? Check Manny Stewards bio. He says American fighters from the last 20 years have poor nutrition and this contributes to poor bone density and ultimately affects power. Yes, you are born with power but without proper diet from childhood you'll never have the tools to utilise it, even if you're some muscle bound freak. Americans are basically slobs and father time has caught up to them. It's all European champs from now on. Brb.

Their are a great many things you fail to understand, being simple does not help your case.

In Golovkin's case, it's a mixture of genetics and technique. Besides your brain, the most important assets in boxing are your legs. Everything starts from there, and, with practice, fists are merely delivery vessels. Golovkin has strong legs and uses them for leverage accurately.

Also, if you notice, he curves his wrists as he throws shots. That enables you to deliver them more naturally, impacting with the most power possible. If you're doing it right, you're basically just letting your punch go from your shoulder, without even focusing on power, and yet it hits with power because of your legs. And, as they're released, your shots should go down toward the center of your body, because that's where it's strongest.

It made a huge difference for me, and I had thought for years that I had punching figured out, by nature and whatnot. I was wrong. Technique can make all the difference.
This is the right answer. And because he shuffles his feet and keeps them wide, he's always in position to deliver power. It all starts from the ground up. If you could measure the lateral forces generated by his feet on the canvas as he throws a punch, you'd see where the power comes from. Combine great footwork and a strong base with a powerful torso and heavy arms that deliver punches with a high level of accuracy, timing and coordination and you have GGG.
