Kahn vs Canelo vs GGG vs Hopkins

a lot of mixed opinions. So between Khan and Canelo and GGG vs. Hopkins, which fight you hate more?

They are somewhat similar but revers. In Khan Canelo, the guy who is catching all the criticism is Canelo, bringing up a smaller guy to his own 155 lbs weight division.

in GGG vs. Hopkins, GGG is catching all the flak because of the "Ward Doe" phenomenon and because Hopkins is an old man who has been written off after his one sided defeat vs Kovalev.

so which fight do you think is a bigger mismatch. Kahn vs. Canelo at 155 or GGG vs. Hopkins at 168.

Major "Ward doe" from me if he fights Hopkins at 168.

Both are equally **** fights. Period. In fact Wade is a **** fight as well. The only reason its better than Khan at all is its a mando. But HBO boxing is looking like trash thus far this year.

yeah neither looks too good i think with both Khan and Hopkins (which i don't think is HBOs doing) is more of a name recognition fights.

lets put the big names together and build them up even more... maybe this will ultimately lead to Canelo vs. GGG... fck if i know.

Hopkins could very well beat Golovkin, he is the much bigger man.

But Hopkins at 168 for real? 164 for Ward doe? Just another duck in the never ending series of duck tales from GGG and crew.

Not sure how this is even a comparison. It's the exact opposite.

Khan's an unproven, was stopped at 140 before and will be outweighted by 15-20 pounds.
Hopkins's a legend, never been stopped, and will outweigh his opponent by 15-20 pounds.

If you had no problems with Hopkins fighting a P4P guy his own size (Kov), you should have no problems with him fighting another P4P guy over whom he has a significant height, weight and reach advantage.

edit-misread the poll option and picked the wrong one.

age matters and the perception at the time was that Hopkins still had something in the tank for Kovalev. i think now a year and a half later he probably won't. That being said with Hopkins you just never know he is truly a specimen to be admired.

Hopkins is a 51 year old man, hasn't weighed in at 168 in over 10 years and is 9-5-1 in his last 15 fights.
