Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: Once My Shots Land on Canelo, He Will Think Twice!

British star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is not the least bit bothered by the issue of weight in his anticipated fight against WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

He couldn't stop anyone at welterweight so I don't see him hurting Canelo or even stopping him in his tracks.

He knocked down Collazo 3 times, Thurman didn't knock him down once. But Manny knocked down Algieri once or twice (legit knockdowns, not slips counted as knockdowns) and Khan didn't. So it's debatable how much power Khan carries up, he definitely has decent pop at the very least, just not necessarily a monster puncher.

Apparently Khan had GGG do the shaky legs in sparring.

Khan's talking a lot about his chances since making the fight, if he believes he even has one he's going to get himself hurt. He can't even survive with decent fighters at welterweight so he's hardly going to survive with one of the best P2P fighters in the world. I've seen both him and Canelo fight on a number of occasions and one thing I am certain of is that when Canelo connects cleanly with Khan; he is going to KO him.

I laughed when Roach said Khan shouldn't go for the knockout, but it seems like it might actually be necessary to tell Khan that.

khan is going to get rocked and knocked out earlier than I thought

I get the feeling he's gonna try and load up early to gain nelos respect and end up poleaxed
