A lot of floyd mayweathers abilty to evade punches is his upper body movement and his cat like reflexes.....he senses a punch coming and his body is already in a position that the punch don't really land....Khan is nowhere absolutely nowhere near that kind of cat like instincts....he gets tagged when he punches...he gets tagged as he pulls out and he get tagged when stays in the pocket....no comparison to floyd mayweather in terms of defence and relaxes ....Khan don't move his upper body at all when he boxes....I don't even like mayweather but defence wise floyd is something special...Khan is delusional if he thinks he can replicate floyd because you just can't do the things he can do...khan will get caught when firing shots and just waiting a split second to long and will be knocked clean out .....

To be fair, Canelo and his team were the first people to suggest 152.

But even aside from that, Floyd has a point. He just had way too much ring IQ for Canelo and could deal with him, they could have fought 152, 155, 160, it wouldn't have mattered at all, just an awful style matchup for Canelo. Khan is not anywhere close to the level of Floyd when it comes to ring generalship, which is what Khan would need to beat Canelo i think.

Khan is going to need the perfect game plan and execute it to absolute perfection. In the past he's been very prone to getting into a fight when he didn't need to. The rhythm he fights in can get very predictable for someone with good timing. I think Khan would probably look more towards the Lara or maybe even the Trout fight when it comes to seeing Canelo's weaknesses. There's no real point in studying Floyd because he doesn't have the ring IQ Floyd has.

Just because of his speed, i give him a slight shot against Canelo as long as he can stick to a plan. But any little mistake and he's going to pay big style, which is what i think will happen, unfortunately for Khan.
