I already consider him an all-time great but that would solidify it.

he WILL destroy mayorga, mark my words and IF floyd fights and beats margarito, and oscar takes the fight @ 147 and oscar beats him - then yeah, i suppose he can be an all-time great.

ok so he will kill mayo
          and if he faces pbf,
I think oscar has a great chance of winning, only cause he is too big and too strong for pbf, but I dont think people will give him the credit for beating pbf if he does

they'll say something like "I guess PBF didnt have it in him"

I look at it this way.

Sure Mayorga could be considered overrated....and really not on Oscar's level as a fighter. But a victory over him in impressive fashion would mean worlds, because styles make fights. You've heard H.B.O. bill Mayorga as "Oscar's toughest opponent yet" and that's the damn truth. Not only are they trying to hype the fight....but there is alot of truth to that line of thinking.

Oscar has never faced as wild a puncher, who has that good of a chin...that forces his opponents to fight. Basically the prospect matchup could bring out the best of De La Hoya that we've seen in years.

            The Floyd matchup....well:

I don't really have to go to much into detail regarding that one....let's just say that would be a monumental win.

Oscar is my main man and should have neough to beat Ricardo but he cannot beat Floyd fighting once ever year and a half...you just cant do it.

Oscar has some speed but Floyd is on another planet...plus Oscar's advantage in the fight would be his size therfore he would have to fight at a torrid pace, a pace he has not fought at in many years.

I dont want this fight, Margarito and Hatton are Floyd's future-anything else may cause my wife to get beaten-she is in your hands Floyd.

I'd like to see Oscar get back to his old ways.

Selling out in the ring and not outside of it: oohhhhhh Burn.

Seriously, he needs to quit *****footing around and fight like a man. That whole "pure boxer" crap he's been pulling the last few years is really lame.

Plus he fights much better.....when he fights.
