Bruno gave an awful lot to heavyweight boxing when we had no serious guys around and more than made the best of his abilities , he put boxing in the mainstream here in England and it was really sad to hear his demise.
Bruno deserves respect him put it all on the line.
I hope he never laces them up again apart from to help and give advice to up and comers who will find theres lots to learn from this good man.

One option they haven't seemed to explore as yet is where Bruno could participate in a specialized 2 or 3 round exhibition bout, not an actual pro bout. That way he gets to experience the ring and the crowd again, and vice versa, but it's just essentially a sparring session.

The BBBoc should consider this as a possible option for him. They'll use 20 ounce sparring gloves and also headgear if they feel it beneficial. They can put on the undercard of the Frampton vs Quigg fight in a few weeks time and Bruno gets to experience the ring again and hopefully exorcise some demons. Or maybe a later fight date but either way it's worth considering.

It must be hard for some of these guys to settle for shuffleboard or darts. And considering the current situation with Roy Jones, etc..... something like you suggested would be a real good idea. Great post!

I like that better than a mostly unregulated senior circuit.
