Comments Thread For: Povetkin: After Wilder I'm Open To Fury, Martin and Klitschko

Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22KOs) wants the biggest fights possible this year. The Olympic gold medal winner and former WBA 'regular' heavyweight champion is the mandatory challenger to WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35KOs).

Sadly for Povetkin I doubt he wins IF the fight is ever actually made. Bum squad wins by late knockout or decision.

How is Deontay a bum when you have him beating Povetkin, a consensus top 5 HW.

Lol, because his dislike for Wilder overrules his common sense.

Read it again. He's a bum fighter, meaning he only fights bums bum squad !! The only reason he might fight Povetkin is because the WBC will make him. But he still hasn't fought a mandatory in over a year so I'll believe it when I see it. I'm sure he'd rather fight another un ranked BUM.
